Review & Giveaway
I knew right away that I would like the Peppermint tea...anything Peppermint is GOOD! The Peppermint tea is a herbal infusion, rich and crisp, organic, and naturally caffeine free (so, if you are pregnant, then you can drink this tea...when I was pregnant, I was always searching for caffeine free teas or coffees). What Is Peppermint? Peppermint (M. balsamea Willd) is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. It is indigenous to Europe. Though there have been no human clinical trials on the health benefits of peppermint, many believe peppermint has healing effects because of the menthol that it contains. Many people use it to soothe stomach ailments and other mild illnesses. This tea is a great way to wake up in the morning or during the day.
To be honest, I was hesitant to try the Bengal Breakfast...I seem to lean towards sweeter, flavored teas...but to my surprise I really enjoyed the smooth taste (with a little sugar added of course).
Teatulia sells the tea in bags or loose leaf. I like the simplicity of the tea bags...where my husband who brews 12 cups a day prefers the loose leaf (when I buy him bags, he cuts the bags open and dumps out the tea leaves).
